Good Wine & Great Friends!
Roscoe and I have the best friends in the world! We feel so lucky to have met such nice kitties and doggies thanks to our blog. Just this afternoon, Momo invited us on a impromptu picnic and we teleported on over to Australia. Who was already there waiting for us? None other than our good buddies Momo, Asta and Sassy. We had a wonderful afternoon munching on all kinds of food, drinking Momo wine and sun bathing. It was the perfect day. Thank you all! We can't wait to see you again!

Red Carpet Cats
We are participating in Karl's Red Carpet Buzz contest. In case you haven't heard of it, click on the button on our sidebar and check it out.
So far there have been some wonderful entries. We don't we think we are eligible to win because we are on the staff of Little Productions, which is sponsoring the event. We still thought it would be fun to show up in our best dressed outfits and visit with our friends. Be sure to stop by to check out the action. Even better, find yourself an outfit and join in on the fun!

Happy Birthday Human!
We are so excited!
Today we are celebrating our female human's birthday! Now she told us NOT to tell you how old she is (because she is old) but we will give you a hint; if she were a dog she would be 238 years old! Ouch!
Today she said that she is going to lay around in bed, relax, and that she expects to be waited on hand and foot. You know, pretend she is a cat! We think that is a wonderful idea and we plan to join her in her lazy activities.
Happy Birthday Ma. We hope you have a wonderful day!

Cheer Leading Camp
Right after Opus and I returned from our adventure in Spain, we got call from Sassy. She was calling to invite us to join her at the cheer leading academy! How could we say no to "Sweetface" Sassy?
It was a difficult course to complete with all of the cheer studying, exercising, uniform fashion training and gymnastics that we had to perform! Though we worked our tails off, we still managed to have a lot of fun. And the best part? Sassy had invited a few of other friends along!
And don't worry, we didn't REALLY work our tails off! It was just a figure of speech. Our tails are right where they belong; on our bums following us everywhere we go!
Thanks Sassy for the great time we had with you and all our friends at the Cheer leading Academy!

At the end of our course we had a graduation ceremony. And can you believe that Opus and I EACH got our very own certificate! We don't even have to share!

Tiny Dancer
While in Spain, Opus and I took a course in Flamenco dancing. We had so much fun and really enjoyed ourselves. To our surprise, our teacher told us that we were naturals and asked us to be in her show the following Saturday night. We were honored and thrilled, but also nervous as we only had three days to put a routine together.
Opus decided to dance solo, but I opted to take a partner. Here are some photos of us on stage.
We had so much fun that night and can you believe that we got a standing ovation? Guess they have never seen a couple farm cats dance the Flamenco before! Our teacher was so happy by our performances that she offered us permeate spots in her show. We were honored by her request, but had to decline. As much as we loved Spain, Italy is home for us!

Go Colts!
Though we don't get the NFL on TV here in Italy, our good friend Derby has been keeping us a foot, er a paw, as to how our beloved Indianapolis Colts are doing. Last year was a bitter sweet year for us when the Colts won the Super Duper Bowl; sweet because they won but bitter because we no longer live in Indy and couldn't join in on the celebration.
This year according our official NFL reporter, Derby, the Colts are at it again. It seems they are just a few games away from playing in the Super Duper Bowl! Sassy sent us an email saying that the Colts have a BIG game today. If they win today, they will go on to play for a spot in the Big Game!

Last year we dressed up as excited fans, but this year we want in on the action! Look out grid iron, HERE WE COME!

The Bullfight
While in Spain, Roscoe and I decided that we should check out a bullfight. When we got there, we found out it was amatuer day at the arena. It just so happened that Roscoe and I were traveling with our matador costumes and so we signed up to fight and quickly changed into our colorful costumes.
I went first, but before stepping into the ring I made it VERY CLEAR that I wasn't about to stick sharp objects into a fellow animal; this would be a fun, blood-free bull fight. Needless to say the blood thirsty crowd was disappointed, but the big bull thanked me kindly. We had a great time "dancing" around the arena together. I would wave my red cape and the bull would charge at it, sometimes hitting the cape and sometimes missing it completely. The two of us had a good laugh about the whole thing. We played until our sides hurt so much from laughing that we were forced to stop.
Roscoe went next, following my lead on the "no blood" concept. Roscoe was a little nervous about stepping into the ring with the bull so he found a suitable substitute.
All in all, it was a fun day and a wonderful experience. Of course Roscoe enjoyed wearing his costume so much that he refused to change, even after we left the arena and went back to sightseeing in the city.
The Spanish Bullfighting Association was so impressed with my blood- free bullfight that they have decided to change the rules; from now on, no bulls shall be speared or otherwise hurt during bullfights in Spain!
What a great day!

Back from Our Trip
We are back home safe and sound. We would have posted sooner, but our female human caught a case of the flu and has been in bed since our return. As you can see, the female has returned our blog to its "former golry". We might have to make some changes to it later.
The humans had no idea that we stowed away in their bags. While they toured around the city of Barcelona, gawking at the architecture and visiting boring museums, Opus and I found more interesting ways to keep ourselves entertained.

While the humans are away....
... the cats will play!
Our humans are heading off for a vacation. They have put out extra food and water, but do they REALY think we are going to stay put while they are out having fun? You know the saying; when the cat is away, the mouse will play. Well THESE mice, er cats, intend on having a darn good time!
See you guys when we get back after the 7th!
