While in Spain, Roscoe and I decided that we should check out a bullfight. When we got there, we found out it was amatuer day at the arena. It just so happened that Roscoe and I were traveling with our matador costumes and so we signed up to fight and quickly changed into our colorful costumes.
I went first, but before stepping into the ring I made it VERY CLEAR that I wasn't about to stick sharp objects into a fellow animal; this would be a fun, blood-free bull fight. Needless to say the blood thirsty crowd was disappointed, but the big bull thanked me kindly. We had a great time "dancing" around the arena together. I would wave my red cape and the bull would charge at it, sometimes hitting the cape and sometimes missing it completely. The two of us had a good laugh about the whole thing. We played until our sides hurt so much from laughing that we were forced to stop.
Roscoe went next, following my lead on the "no blood" concept. Roscoe was a little nervous about stepping into the ring with the bull so he found a suitable substitute.
All in all, it was a fun day and a wonderful experience. Of course Roscoe enjoyed wearing his costume so much that he refused to change, even after we left the arena and went back to sightseeing in the city.
The Spanish Bullfighting Association was so impressed with my blood- free bullfight that they have decided to change the rules; from now on, no bulls shall be speared or otherwise hurt during bullfights in Spain!
What a great day!

Oh you two be careful out with the bulls that looks so dangerous. I have to say that Roscoe and the chicken was certainly something to make me laugh. I have been missing you two and your adventures, so nice to see you back.
Bull, huh? Roscoe has a good idea with the chicken.
We're glad you advanced the cause of the no-blood bull dances. We're against blood "sports" too.

Oh my, what a dangerous thing that looks like doin. Were ya scared????? Hope Roscoe was OK after goin several rounds with that chicken, ha, ha. Anyway saw that ya stopped bu and wanted to say hey, see ya at the game. Go COLTS!
I'm glad that ya didn't hurt the bulls. Even though they are big I think they are mean cause they know their releatives get hurt when they go into that arena. I am glad that ya two got to know them.
Hey come back, ya forgot to take your Colts helmet logo home for your blog today. This is to show support for your team.
You two look very dashing in your matador suits. I am very, very glad that you had a fun and humane fight with the bulls, and I wish every bullfight was just like that. I laughed and laughed at the chicken fight!
Wow, that was really brave of you to tackle the bulls! I applaude the humane attitude. SS refused to go to any bull fights when she was in Spain in protest.
Love the costumes that you just happened to have packed with you! The chicken is a hoot! I laugh so much the sides hurt!
