Remembering Roscoe

I can hardly believe that it has been 5 months today since our sweet little Roscoe went to the bridge. Some days it feels like he has been missing from our lives for years, while other days I swear I can still see him, just around the corner in our living room.

This photos makes me smile every time I look at it. Opus and Rosoce were on our bed, taking their usual afternoon nap when Roscoe's tail decided it was time to dance. Poor Opus's nose kept getting tickled by Roscoe's restless tail. Opus, deep into a kitty dream, didn't have the energy or desire to get up and move. So he stayed while Roscoe's tail danced across poor Opus's face. A couple of times, Opus reached out, eyes still closed, to swat at Roscoe's tail, but never managed to catch the thing.

It always warmed my heart to see the boys curled up together. Together from the moment their lives began, these litter mates were inseparable.

We will miss you forever sweet Roscoe and keep you alive in our hearts and in our memories...

That is the sweetest picture. Opus, when you are lonely you can come cuddle with us. It must be very lonesome not having a sibling to cuddle with. ~Socks, Scylla & Charybdis

What a happy picture that is of the two brothers. We know what you mean about it seems like years but it seems like yesterday.

Purrs and soft barks for you today. And Jan sends hugs.

What beautiful cats, I am sad for your loss, you will always remember Roscoe and Opus will miss his buddy a lot, no matter how long he is gone, I still miss my Melody and she has been gone over a year. You know why we miss our pets, once they come into our lives, they become family, you can tell you take good care of them by just looking at their pictures. I lit a candle and passed it on.

We thought we left a comment but then it disappeared - so apologies if this is a duplicate.

That's a gorjuss picture of the boys, and yes, time does fly by. But dear little Roscoe will never be forgotten because he is much too preshus.

Extra BIG (((((hugs)))))) for you and Opus today because you are both missing Roscoe.

What a darling picture! I can't believe it is 5 month...it feels like yesterday! He will always be with us, we think of him almost every day. Mostly of the picture of him and Anastasia in wig and bathing cap, hahahahahahahahahahaha!
We are still in Limburg, hopefully around Valentines we will start blogging again - but I have a feeling as if our time might be restricted.... we'll see. Good thing you all came by in Limburg!!!

What a cute photo! I wonder if Opus was really asleep or passed out, if you know what I mean.
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of Roscoe, I miss him each and every day. Keeping him close to me in my heart and thoughts!
