Opus moved to Italy in the fall of 2004 with his brother (and litter mate) Roscoe. The farm cats from Indiana enjoyed spending their days taking cat naps in the warm, Italian sun. In Sept. of 2008 Roscoe fell ill and died unexpectedly. In April of this year, we adopted a 7 year old cat from a shelter in Indiana during a trip back home. Olive has joined Opus in Italy, in hopes to fill some of the hole that Roscoe left behind. We feel blessed to have her join our family. Opus and Olive are just starting to get to know each other. I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship...
Charlie, a sweet friend, has gone to the bridge. Forever she will be free to run and play. Forever young and with those that knew her from before. You will certainly be missed.
My heart is heavy with sadness as I will miss our friend Charlie. I know Roscoe is playing with Charlie as they were good friends. Forever they will be together always young and free of pain.

We are sad to hear of your loss but we know a couple of cats up at the bridge who love woofies and Charlie is probably having a wonderful time romping with them.
We are sending you and your people extra comforting purrs and head bonks.
